Cynthia Zimmer for District Attorney

Hi, I’m Cynthia Zimmer and I believe in justice.

Justice is earned when aggressive yet fair-minded prosecutors hold criminals responsible for their actions by winning jury trials. Justice is achieved when the hard work and diligence of law enforcement professionals is vindicated in open court. Justice is met when victims of crimes see that the people who cause their suffering are held accountable. Justice is attained when the community has faith that a vigorous prosecution awaits anyone who violates society’s laws.

As the next District Attorney of Kern County, I will fairly and vigorously represent the People in criminal prosecutions. I will see to it that cases are prosecuted with professionalism, skill, and courage. I will ensure that the law is administered equally and impartially to all persons, in all communities.

I will work with law enforcement to ensure that the crimes they solve are validated by jury trial convictions. I will keep victims of crime involved in the legal process to guarantee that justice awaits those who cause harm. I will partner with the Board of Supervisors and other elected officials to guarantee a safer community.

My focus will be on violent crimes. I will do everything possible to help stop the senseless suffering brought by violence and the crushing toll it takes on our families and communities. I will use the courts and the skilled prosecutors employed by the District Attorney’s Office to send the message that violence is unacceptable.

Cynthia Zimmer

Cynthia Zimmer has fought to seek justice for victims and will continue to work with law enforcement in order to effectively protect the people of Kern County.

Went to the Meet and Greet and was very impressed with both Shannon Grove and Cindy Zimmer and I want to thank both of them and Zack Scrivner for coming to our little community that always seems to be the forgotten stepchild of Kern County. They really seemed to want to clean up our pot shops and gangs. Thanks again.

I also want to thank the Patels for hosting the event.
